Paul Lamoreux Consulting Privacy Policy

Effective: April 23, 2025

Hi! I’m Paul Lamoreux Consulting, a one‑person business that helps medical device software teams. I care about your privacy and want to keep this simple.

1. What This Policy Covers

It explains what info I collect, why, how I keep it safe, and your rights. It applies to my website (www.lamoreux.consulting), email, calls, and any work we do together.

If you live in the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, or other places with extra privacy rights, you can use those rights—just contact me.

If you visit from outside the U.S., your info will be processed and stored in the United States.

2. What I Collect

Categories of personal information I collect include:

·      Contact info – name, email, phone, company.

·      Project data – the documents or details you share so I can do my job.

·      Website usage data – IP address, browser type, pages you view (via cookies).

I do not knowingly collect info from anyone under 16.

3. How I Use Your Info

·      To answer questions and deliver the services you ask for.

·      To run and improve the website and my business.

·      To send updates or newsletters only if you say it’s okay.

4. No Selling or Sharing

I never sell, rent, or give your personal info to anyone for marketing. I share it only if:

·      You tell me to; or

·      The law requires it.

Trusted service providers (website hosting, payment processing, email, cloud storage) may handle info for me under contracts that keep it confidential.

5. Cookies

The site uses basic analytics cookies to see which pages get traffic. These cookies are optional—you can disable them in your browser and the site will still work.

6. Keeping Your Info Safe

I use passwords, encryption, and other reasonable safeguards to protect your data. While no system is perfect, I work hard to keep everything secure.

7. Your Choices and Rights

·      See, fix, or delete your info – email me and I’ll help.

·      Stop marketing emails – click “unsubscribe” or let me know.

If your local laws give you more rights (like portability or restriction), just ask.

8. Following the Rules

I follow all privacy and security laws that apply to my work, including U.S. federal and state laws.

If we need to handle protected health information (PHI), I’ll do so only under a signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement and will use the PHI solely as allowed by that agreement.

9. Changes

If I update this policy, I’ll post the new date here.
